We should all study the past.

Good job, folks.

Happy week,
Kelley~Mrs. Kelley Dibblehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04192189624517973551noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4186987781983046896.post-51571555865302068722014-08-07T14:07:25.830+01:002014-08-07T14:07:25.830+01:00oh, this has made me homesick! It was winter, snowing and freezing and that was a horror in itself. I was bundled up in my Poland-bought jacket and boots which are made for the weather and I was cold. What must have those poor people felt in their thin cotton clothes? One thing that ruined my experience was a group of Israeli school children who were incredibly disrespectful. If I'd been their teacher, I'd have been ashamed.

As you enjoyed Krakow, can I suggest future trips to Warsaw (which is home to me and the polar opposite of Krakow) and Gdansk, which is just beautiful. I love your harmless translation of Bigos as "stew". Gristle wrapped in soggy cabbage leaves would be a better description, but placki ziemniaczane are one of the best things on earth.Wendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05167739272302561918noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4186987781983046896.post-49410059807916128082014-08-06T18:07:27.890+01:002014-08-06T18:07:27.890+01:00Poland is not somewhere I would have considered, b...Poland is not somewhere I would have considered, but I have heard lots of good reports about it. xxAlihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11232542031028759207noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4186987781983046896.post-79452875144944789702014-08-06T16:52:41.030+01:002014-08-06T16:52:41.030+01:00What a wonderful holiday, and how clean the street...What a wonderful holiday, and how clean the streets are, it puts ours to shame.
Briony
xcrafty cat cornerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06251582085392890533noreply@blogger.com
